Where ideas take shape: Centrica develops the digital platform “Officine” of the sAu Research Center

Centrica has developed Officine, the digital platform designed to foster project development and cooperation among all participants involved in the activities of the Centro Ricerche Scientia Atque Usus – ETS (sAu).

The Officine are secure digital spaces where researchers, enterprises, institutions, and transdisciplinary groups can design, develop, and monitor projects based on collaboration and the shared enhancement of knowledge. Each Officina is connected to a specific research project and supports every phase of its development, from conception to implementation.

Centrica oversaw the digital development of the platform, creating an infrastructure that integrates tools for management, communication, and documentation. The system aims to facilitate collaboration and generate new connections among stakeholders from the worlds of scientia and usus.

Through the Officine platform, users can:

  • identify and analyze stakeholders’ needs and resources;
  • initiate the development of concrete project-based collaborations;
  • engage researchers, enterprises, and citizens in shared initiatives;
  • identify the resources required to implement projects;
  • strengthen the communication of goods and services through the values they express.

Thanks to Centrica’s technical development, the platform provides a dynamic, modular, and secure environment, capable of adapting to diverse contexts and ensuring continuity and traceability throughout the entire project lifecycle.

With this collaboration, Centrica reaffirms its commitment to bridging digital innovation and cultural development, placing technology at the service of knowledge, collaboration, and creativity.
