InnovaCultura is a project promoted by the Lombardy Region and Cariplo Factory to promote cultural sites in the region. Launched in 2023, Centrica was among the winners of the call for proposals with ArtStories, an interactive and immersive cloud platform dedicated to cultural storytelling.

Over the past year, Centrica has collaborated with two museums in Lombardy – the Museo Civico Polironiano in San Benedetto Po and the Museo Archeologico della Valle Sabbia in Gavardo – to digitize works and objects from their collections, create multimedia narratives, and develop an interactive visitor experience.

The ArtStories platform, available in Italian and English, allows users to explore the collections, experience the Stories narratives that intertwine voice, sound, and images – and delve deeper into the content through educational lessons that offer insights into everyday life at the time.

During the first official presentation of the project, held on Friday, October 3, Federica Guidetti, curator of the Polironiano Civic Museum, emphasized the platform’s ability “to increase visitor awareness and offer an educational and interactive tool for students and schools.” Marco Baioni, director of the Valle Sabbia Archaeological Museum, also stressed the importance of training in new technologies for the productive and informed use of these tools.

The project also included managing the digital communication plan throughout the year, with the production of posts and reels to promote and raise awareness of the two participating museums.

The audio and voice components of the Stories were created by eArs, a partner in the project.

With InnovaCultura, Centrica confirms its commitment to combining technological innovation and cultural storytelling, offering digital tools that make heritage more accessible, interactive, and engaging.
