Centrica participated as a partner in the national SMST – Social Museum Smart Tourism project, co-funded by MIUR, dedicated to the research and development of digital solutions for the enhancement of cultural heritage.

Despite a complex project path, participation represented an important opportunity to learn more about innovative technologies, particularly in the fields of computer vision, advanced use of high-resolution media and semantic correlation between related content.

The knowledge and experience gained through SMST contributed to the evolution of the ArtCentrica Platform, enriching it with features and approaches derived from research on the relationship between art, technology and digital interaction.

With this project, Centrica confirms its commitment to research applied to cultural innovation, putting the most advanced technologies at the service of knowledge and enjoyment of artistic heritage.
