CENTRICA has developed a watermarking solution embedded in its products XLimage® and XLspider®.
XLimage® Dynamic Distribution Engine is able to mark the images in real time during the publication with different watermarking strategies.

Colour Management


CENTRICA, thanks to the experience of the DADDI project for the photographic taking to high resolution directly in digital of the art works of the Uffizi Gallery, has developed a colour management system able to guarantee an accurate chromatic fidelity to the original one of the images visualized on Internet.

IPR & DRM

(Intellectual Property Protection - Digital Right Management)

IPR protection of multimedia data has been initially accomplished by cryptography algorithms in order to provide control on data access and to make data unreadable to non-authorized users.

The digital watermark is a signal permanently incorporated inside the digital data that allows, on different levels, to hide information on the same data, and to eventually go up again to the data origin.

Accessibility

CENTRICA has acquired a solid experience in the planning of "accessible" websites (usable also by handicapped persons, particularly by blind people) following the standards of "universal planning" that besides the technological conformity (validation according to the standard W3C) also guarantees the possibility of browsing, orientation and interaction.

CENTRICA 's staff has been involved in the experimentation of "Virtual Reality and Accessibility" inside the WP5 of the Minerva Project.
