ArsTouch® at Palazzo Strozzi for exhibition "Painting Light" 11th July - 28 th September 2008, Florence
July 11th is the opening of the exhibition "Painting Light. The hidden techniques of the Impressionists". Manet, Renoir, and Van Gogh are unveiled through four ArsTouch® installations. The user can interact with images of the painting and of the different analysis (X rays, infrared, ultraviolet) discovering what is present beyond visible light.

Centrica signs a MOU with Hitachi, Ltd. 15th April 2008, Florence
Centrica has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hitachi, Ltd. for the joint development of products and services in digital imaging, particularly addressed to Cultural Heritage area. The Memorandum follows the collaboration started in 2007. In these days Centrica, Hitachi, Ltd. and MICC, are finalizing a new Project for Polo Museale della Città di Firenze: the digital representation of “La Sacra Famiglia (Tondo Doni)”, Michelangelo Buonarroti's masterpiece. From 16th to 18th April at EVA Florence (Palazzo dei Congressi, Florence) it will be possible to “touch with hands” this new digital representation through XLimage® software and it will be possible to interact with the image directly with fingers, with zoom and pan actions, due to a 42” touch screen.
