25th anniversary of the inscription of Florence in UNESCO 15th - 17th December 2007, Firenze
Centrica celebrates the 25th anniversary of the inscription of the Historic Centre of Florence in the World Heritage List, with a CD-card for the visualization of the Bonsignori map powered by XLimage®. Centrica has realised the high-res digital acquisition in Museum "Firenze com'era" where the map of 1594 is conserved. Through XLimage® stored in the CD-card is possible to examine tha map in each detail.

The project 'Una Scuola al passo con i tempi' put the emphasis on innovation (interactive whiteboards, e-learning, Internet imaging with XLimage®) and use of high quality digital content in schools, to apply digital technologies to learn history of art.

“Primavera Italiana” in Giappone 2007: Centrica technologies presented at the Italian Institute of Culture 15th - 17th April 2007, Tokyo
“Primavera Italiana” in Giappone 2007: Centrica technologies presented at the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo in the workshop "Information technologies and cultural communication", 16-17th April 2007. Centrica presents the digital imaging innovations introduced in last years at the State Museums of Florence, from the digital archive at very high resolution (DADDI project) - recently augmented for Leonardo da Vinci's "Annuciazione" due to the collaboration with Hitachi DIS - to the imaging platforms (XLimage® e XLphoto®) integration for digital asset management and valorization.

TRIPOD Project 1st January 2007 - 31 st December 2009
TRIPOD's primary objective is to revolutionise access to the enormous body of visual media. The project is based also on XLimage® platform and Centrica is responsible of software development coordination. Other partners are Fratelli Alinari, Sheffield University (coordinator) and other seven European partners.
