The photographic shooting campaign of the 2012 Spring/Summer collection has been entirely carried out by Centrica photo team.

The Polo Universitario in Prato has organized a series of joint seminars as part of courses Marketing I (Prof. Aldo Burresi) and Marketing of cultural enterprises (Dr. ssa Silvia Ranfagni).

On December 6 Centrica will partecipate with the speech of Dr. Alessandro Bemporad (Chief Innovation Officer of Centrica) and Dr. Marco Cappellini (Centrica CEO) entitled “New technologies and marketing in Centrica Ltd experience”.

The seminars are free and open access to all stakeholders.

From Tuesday, November 22 to Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Tokyo (Exhibit Hall) will be the exhibition Uffizi Virtual Museum, in collaboration with Centrica and Hitachi.

The exhibition offers the opportunity to get close to the direct knowledge of a series of masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery through life-size replicas.

This is a digital theater that recreates the immersive experience in the Uffizi Gallery and 100 images scanned in high definition.

The event, organized by the Embassy of Italy, Italian Institute of Culture, Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, Museums of Florence, University of Florence MICC Italy Japan Foundation, is sponsored dall’Asahi Shimbun.

On the occasion of the X Week of Culture, on November 22, 2011, in the intervention “The culture that creates business: the transfer of technology applied to cultural heritage in relation to the Tuscan poles and technological districts” Marco Cappellini, CEO of Centrica, will present the case history.
